Favy - store your favourite sites, and discover new ones
Do you know how many websites there are? No, nor do we. We do know there is one heck of a lot and that makes discovering good websites tricky.
That's where Favy comes in - we use some clever mathematics to match you with websites you might like. We do that by matching your favorites
(and if you allow us, other information on your interests and browsing habits) with what we think you will like online.
Don't worry, your information is just that, yours.
Many of Favy's services can be accessed from favy.com, however we do recommend installing the Favy toolbar to maximize the benefits.
Already convinced? Sign up and try us out.
If we told you tomorrow where you should have gone today that wouldn't be much use. That's why the Favy toolbar presents matches within the browser as you surf.
So for example if you are researching a new mobile phone the toolbar will likely match you with alternative providers - one might be cheaper, the other might be better, certainly all will be relevant to what you are currently doing.
Do you currently store your favorites in Internet Explorer or perhaps as bookmarks in FireFox? How many PC's do you use? One at home and one at work/college? Isn't it annoying when you need to access a favorite but it's stored on another PC?
We think so. Favy solves this - simply log-in to favy.com from any PC and you will have access to all your favorites. Not only very handy but also a useful back up. If your hard drive dies at least your favorites will live on!
You know you saved it as a favorite, but where exactly is it? The Favy toolbar will auto-complete as you type in the name of your favorite for quick access. For example if you saved 'Google Maps' just type 'map' and you'll find the direct link.
Found a site you like and want to share it with others? With the Favy toolbar you can do this without opening up your email.
Simply click the Send to a Friend icon, enter your friends email and a personal note and it's sent. Simple, like it should be.
The Favy toolbar allows you to search Google, Yahoo!, MSN Live, YouTube, Wikipedia and Dictionary.com - all directly from the toolbar.
Sign up here and then we recommend trying our toolbar.
